ABOUT ME
Hi, I’m Natalie, and my counselling approach is grounded in creativity, connection, and compassion. I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all therapy—people are unique, and I shape my work around what you need. I draw on a mix of counselling theories, and I often bring in art and creative expression as gentle but powerful ways to explore what’s going on inside.
Before training as a counsellor, I spent over 12 years working in education, including time as a Designated Safeguarding Lead. That experience gave me a real understanding of how deeply mental health challenges can affect not just individuals, but families, schools, and entire communities. It also showed me how much people need safe, supportive spaces to talk and heal. I’ll be fully qualified as an integrative counsellor in June 2025, and alongside my training, I bring my own personal experience of therapy. I know what it’s like to sit on the other side—and how valuable it can be to untangle your story with someone who listens without judgement.
When I’m not working, I’m usually in the garden or fussing over my indoor plants (some thrive… some don’t, and that’s okay!). I also love long walks with my dog, Rodney—being outdoors really helps me slow down and recharge. These little joys remind me of the importance of presence, patience, and self-kindness, which I try to carry into my work with clients.
Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or just not quite yourself, I’m here to walk alongside you, at your pace
