ABOUT ME

Connection and compassion are at the heart of everything I do. I don’t believe in "one-size-fits-all" therapy. Because every person is unique, I shape my work around exactly what you need in the moment. I draw on a blend of counselling theories, often incorporating art and creative expression as a gentle but powerful way to explore what’s happening beneath the surface when words feel out of reach.

My Specialisms & Approach

I have a particular interest in inner child work, exploring childhood and family dynamics to help you understand your current defenses and behavioral patterns. My goal is to help you untangle your story with someone who listens without judgment—a process I know firsthand to be deeply valuable.

Experience You Can Trust

Before qualifying as a counsellor, I spent over 12 years in education, including time as a Designated Safeguarding Lead. This experience gave me a profound understanding of the mental health challenges people face today and reinforced my belief that everyone deserves a safe, supportive space to heal.

Alongside my private practice, I work with a charity in Leatherhead, supporting young people as they explore their emotions and build trusting relationships.

Beyond the Therapy Room

When I’m not working, I’m usually recharging in nature or fussing over my indoor plants (some thrive, some don’t—and that’s okay!). I love long walks with my dog, Rodney; being outdoors reminds me of the importance of presence, patience, and self-kindness. These are the same little joys and values I carry into my work with you.

Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or just not quite yourself, I’m here to walk alongside you—at your pace.
